A 2026 graduate of the Academy of our Lady of Guam, Regina will be attending the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo to pursue a NAAB accredited degree in Architecture. In her application, Regina credits her inspiration to pursue architecture from her family’s frequent relocations across several counties which fostered an interest in the homes and architectural spaces around her and cultivated a growing desire to design spaces that are affordable and provide comfort. Regina hopes to further hone her skills and build upon the experience she started as an intern at GUMA Architects and a participant in the World Architecture Day 2025 “Design for Strength” Art Contest.

This year, AIA Marianas is pleased to award a second scholarship to a familiar face, Camillah Joyce R. Mariano; our 2025 Scholarship Recipient. Camillah will be entering her second year at the University of Notre Dame pursuing a NAAB-accredited degree in Architecture with a Minor in Sustainability. Since winning last year’s scholarship, Camillah has prospered in her first year at Notre Dame, landing on the Dean’s List and getting involved in several organizations and events centered on sustainability, graphic design, philanthropy and her Filipino culture. Camillah hopes to combine what she has learned from both of her degrees in the future to create impactful designs for Guam.
